Typo3 User Jobs and Tasks: Implications for Training and Certification
- Author:
- Virgil Huston
- Abstract:
- With the exception of the TYPO3 Integrator, there are no standardized job titles, descriptions and specific task listings required to successfully perform each job for those managing content and administering TYPO3 web sites. Even the TYPO3 Integrator does not have tasks defined that are based on a job and task analysis process. Individual agencies and TYPO3 using companies develop their own job descriptions and training based on specific needs. This presentation will discuss the instructional systems design process as it applies to TYPO3 jobs and job responsibilities. Part of the presentation will encourage audience participation to brainstorm job tasks for a TYPO3 job. Once tasks are defined, relevant training may be produced and certifications exams that accurately measure ability to perform a given job may be developed. Implications for improving training for both agencies training clients and companies training employees.
