Author Description:

Jochen Rau lives and works in Tübingen as a self employed TYPO3 developer. Prior to joining up with the TYPO3 community, he worked several years as a project manager at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the German Aerospace Center, and as a senior teacher of mathematics, physics and computer engineering at a Waldorf School. He is an active member of the TYPO3 User Group Stuttgart, and publishes articles on software development and TYPO3 at http://blog.typoplanet.de.

Abstract:

With Extbase - a new framework for extension development introduced in TYPO3 4.3 - you are able to develop with the paradigms of FLOW3 today. During this session we will implement a basic extension step-by-step. Then will utilize the new Kickstarter to model a more complex business domain. Load your batteries and start your local TYPO3 installation.
